Our ADDIX Coach of the Week is April Yates, the Head Volleyball Coach at Manistee High School. The Chippewa Volleyball team was a part of the Manistee Community’s “Paint the Town Pink” breast cancer awareness initiative. The entire town of Manistee got involved including the high school!
The Manistee volleyball team wore custom pink ADDIX jerseys to support the cause. Bracelets, t-shirts and other items were worn by fans to help raise breast cancer awareness.
In the pink-out game, which was also senior night, Manistee defeated Brethren 25-27, 25-21, 26-26 and 25-21. This was a great initiative by the town of Manistee, Manistee High School, and Coach Yates to get involved.
