The Vikings Go Pink
JACKSON HIGH SCHOOL GOES PINK ONCE A YEAR AS PART OF THEIR PINK VIKING PROJECT.
This week our Addix Coach of the week is Mr. Scott Farley from Jackson High School in Michigan. He is their Head Football Coach and he’s doing something amazing with Viking Nation. He and Jackson Football host their annual Pink Viking Project each year to honor those affected by cancer.
All proceeds from the project benefit the Henry Ford Allegiance Health Patient Immediate Needs Cancer Fund. The Pink Viking project took place on October 13th this year in a game against Lansing Eastern. The Vikings won 55-12 in a game filled with emotions as the players played in honor of someone fighting cancer.
Players wore pink football uniforms and helmets to honor those who are currently battling cancer. All the fans also wear their $10 Pink Viking Project t-shirt (proceeds go to Henry Ford Allegiance Health Patient Immediate Needs Cancer Fund) that gets them into the game as well. Thanks to Coach Farley and the Vikings for hosting this great event!
