We’re going behind the scenes as we check in with two of our company executives. Addix President & Owner Steve Dean and Addix Vice President of Factory Performance Teams Jarrod Whaley attended the PRINTING United Conference in Dallas.
Currently Addix offers design, sublimation, screen-printing, and embroidery services. As referenced on their website, PRINTING United is built to “provide access to the latest solutions for apparel, graphics/wide-format and functional printing applications, extending into the commercial, packaging, and in-plant printing segments.”
PRINTING United 2019 which has over 30,000 attendees, and over 2,000 equipment distributors, provided an ample opportunity for Addix to look at different techniques for improving our manufacturing. The conference was held from Wednesday October 23rd to Friday October 25th at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas.

While at the show Addix invested in a new environmentally friendly “Xpress Screen” technology. This process will allow for faster prints, higher resolution, and a reduced carbon footprint. These enhancements are not only a win for Addix, but for our customers and the environment as well. According to Jarrod Whaley “the Xpress Screen solution or Eco-friendly Green Screen solution, as we like to refer to it at Addix, is a game changer for the market we serve.”
Recently, Addix has also invested in an automated laser cutter or “laser bot”. This automation allows us to speed up our sublimation process which in turn supports a huge cycle time reduction in Order to Delivery for our customers.
Steve Dean adds “the Addix spotlight is on people, process and technology and we intend to maintain our position as the market leader for high quality, custom, expedited sportswear.”
